Raffle, Silent Auction, and Not-so-silent Auction!

On August 25, we’re holding a raffle, silent auction, and not-so-silent auction to benefit the Flip Flop Foundation. Although the party is private, you can still view our catalog  – you’ll be amazed at what is being offered! You can bid or buy raffle tickets via email (GretchenS@Rochester.rr.com or TBorrosch@Rochester.rr.com). For the silent auction items, we’ll need your maximum bid, then we’ll keep an eye on the object of your desire throughout the evening and enter your bid in increments until we reach your max, just as if you were there. We’ll notify you via email if you win an auction.

We had so much fun handing out samples and selling bottles of Flip Flop wine in Honeoye Falls, we’re doing again, this time in Fairport. We’ll have cheese and crackers and lots of laughter. Please stop by.

Colonial Liquor in Honeoye Falls graciously donated the proceeds from all sales of Flip Flop wine sold on Friday, July 1 to the Flip Flop Foundation. Thanks to all who purchased a bottle and super-thanks to Colonial Liquor for their generosity!

What goes better with wine than flip flops?

Mark Your Calendars, July 1st 4-7 PM…….It’s a Wine Tasting Fun(d)raising Event!

Wondering what to bring to that Fourth of July picnic? What could be better than a bottle of Flip Flop Wine?  Not only does it taste good, but it is nicely priced at $5.99/bottle and you will be helping to aid the women and orphans of Zambia.  Even if you are not attending a 4th of July celebration, grab a bottle or two to enjoy any time this summer! My neighbor and owner of Colonial Liquor in Honeoye Falls, Joe Notar, has graciously allowed me the opportunity to do a sampling of these wines on Friday, July 1st from 4-7 PM at his store in the plaza by Honeoye Falls Marketplace.  Joe has generously agreed to donate the entire cost($5.99) of each bottle of Flip Flop Wine sold during this event to the Flip Flop Foundation and I have chosen to dedicate running 26.2 miles to raise funds for this organization at the ING NYC marathon this November. We have a special guest on this very special day.  He is wearing his flip flops too, and could he be ANY cuter?  Thanks to our good friend Jo Ann for joining in on the spirit of this day with her furry friend.  Meet WATSON!  Watson has been known for accompanying us on many a run too.
